DIARY ENTRY, SUMMER AFTER SECOND GRADE, AGE 8
A found poem from a diary entry written by my 8-year-old self at the Ronald McDonald House near Loyola Children’s Hospital
July 26th, 2004
Dear Diary,
When me and my family went to a hotel house home for sick children and their families, we found the secret room magical treasure cave full of giant teddy bears and dolls place where if you are a child and you are to die here, fall asleep, you might as well be hugging something soft.
