In Search of More Human Proof
In time,
the scream will move
to animal.
In time,
they hear no more
human voices
under our words.
We bleat
and hope to still
be seen the same.
In time,
we are told,
we will learn
to cut our throats.
We prove
it, for them, they
need to see it.
We bleed
and they know
that we are.
